Whoah whoah whoah!
I feel like my weekend is never-ending. Oh, how I love weekends ♥ Heaps of interesting events took place despite me not really feeling well. Boohooo! x) But yeah, I still had fun, nonetheless!
What would I do without ISM? Geeee! The thought of this makes me tremble. Rawrrr. One of the many reasons I fell in love with Melbourne in the first place. Being an ISMer ♥
Back to what I was supposed to say… There’s more than one reason to celebrate this weekend yo! Darina’s baptism, Lolie & Nelson’s 21st!!!!
11am service this morning witnessed Darina’s baptism. Wohooo! EeeOoo’s sexytary. Haha :D
Her whole family came from Brunei for her brother’s graduation and also to witness her baptism. It’s certainly a big day for her :) :) SHOOOOOOO happy for her. *hugggggs
After service, had lunch with Jaja, Jean, Wilson, Eugene and Hannah. This is because Wilson is going back to HK :( Roar. Like Hannah said, we just started to get to know this guy, and now he is going back. “Life span” of an international student here in this foreign land. Ahhh wells. I reckon it will always happen. Not only this time. So we have to get use to this. Hmmm…. Yeahhh, he will be missed. Gave him a HUGE hug before saying our goodbyes! ♥
Rushed home to finish up the birthday card for Loliie :) I know I am not obliged to buy him a present or do anything since we’re gonna celebrate tonight but yeah, I felt like I wanted to do something and not just go empty handed. Because I rushed since its so last minute, I didn’t manage to take a picture of my masterpiece. Haha! But it definitely looks similar to this…
I spent exactly an hour and abit to finish it up :) Glad that I did it although it was abit tedious to stick the punched papers into a nice spiral. I managed to paste a simple birthday wish behind the BIG PAPER LOLLIE. Teeehee (: Rushed to his house after that.
Birthday boy wasn’t there but his house was filled with his friends. Interesting. His housemate invited me to celebrate his birthday. Was shocked at first because I never joined this “Macau” gang before – consists of mostly Indos, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Bruneians, Koreans and Chinese. This group of people are pretty well integrated :) And guess what, I love this type company. Despite the fact that they are a lot older but it’s definitely an experience. Anyway, we gathered and leave together for a Korean BBQ buffet in Caulfield.
So many of us from church. Wen & Viv, Jax & Juls, Jerome, Cous, Andu, Loliie, Nelson, Rainer, Glenn, Chrystal, Eleanor, Alex, Ivan, Darina, Joanne, Shaun, Shelly and myself. Woohoo! We dominated the whole BBQ restaurant. Hahahaah :D It was an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet. Awesome pawesome ;) Time limit is 1hr30mins. We can order all the meat we want for the BBQ. And not to mention, Australian beef has the best quality in the whole wide world. Hence, its only wise to order heaps and heaps of beef. Lol.
I was so full after the buffet, it wasn’t funny. Lol. Almost had to loosen my jeans’ button. Haha! Cous couldn’t stop ordering more and more meat. Seriously, guys eat a lot! Thankgoodness they work out, or else… Nothing much after dinner. I went back to “Macau” where I handed Loliie his birthday card. I didn’t wanna hand it to him infront of Cous or Alex because they wouldn’t stop teasing the both of us. Seriously, all these teasing should stop man!
All in all, I really enjoyed my weekend. Esp tonight. I got to know the “Macau” gang better :) This crazy and fun group of people. They are very welcoming to begin with. Even invited me to hang out there more often. Haha! I guess I might, depends on how much work I have at hand. And these people really eat good food. They know the best places to eat and don’t mind going the distance just for a meal. Coolios! :D Ohhh, tonight’s dinner was $40. I know it’s a bit too much but I guess to celebrate 2 guys’ 21st together, its worth it! :D
Winter came and is going soon! Ohemgeee, cant wait for it to be gone. I am so so sick of this weather really. Grr :X I am getting better. Still have a slight congested nose and a slight dry cough. No worries! Totally the seasonal cough.
